The local spots are what make Williamsburg feel like a true neighborhood, not just a place to sleep. Flower shops, coffee spots, specialty stores—these everyday gems are why residents stay for years. When I show buyers around, these are the blocks that seal the deal.
Aussie café with great flat whites of course! and their breakfast sandwich has truffle aioli. They opened a kiosk location on N 8th Street too. If you have a sweet tooth, try their Sticky Date muffin. It is so good.
Geometry Gardens
A local source for fresh cut flowers, indoor and outdoor plants, design services, and horticultural workshops. The flower and the plant shops are next to each other. Flower shop is just precious with very unique arrangements.
Their brioche breakfast sandwich with eggs with siracha and avocado is so good. They have juices and salad bowls.
Unique Shape Threading Salon Inc.
I have been going to this place in Williamsburg for 15 years and even when I was living in Manhattan before moving to Brooklyn. Threading is very popular in India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. Most Indians still prefer threading their eyebrows and facial hair.
A dine-in theater, pairing exemplary first-run and repertory film programming along with tableside food and beverage service. If you enjoy independent, local, foreign films/documentaries like I do, this is a great place that offers those as well.
Since the taco truck 'Endless Summer Tacos' on Bedford Ave which was an institution almost for 5 years for locals and the brand was auctioned off on ebay in 2013 for $60k, there were so many other food trucks. I don't really like any of them. I only had fish tacos at Mex N' Roll and they were delicioso. They are usually in the corner of N 6th St.
