Also worth mentioning is Smorgasbug which launched on May 21, 2011, as a spinoff of Brooklyn Flea and has since launched dozens of small businesses and attracted millions of visitors. The New York Times dubbed Smorgasburg “The Woodstock of Eating” as you will find traditional and all international artisanal and inventions like wow pasta (pasta donut) to wowfles.

 

The annual Winter Market at 25 Kent Avenue combines the best of the outdoor Brooklyn Flea and Smorgasburg markets, curating the top 40-50 antiques, vintage, handmade vendors from the Flea and 12-15 Smorgasburg vendors to create a popular indoor weekend destination every November through March. Vintage finds and incredible eats!
