How cool is it that one of the best cafes in West Village also has a designer store? It's a lap top free cafe and my favorite outside of their coffee selections is actually their lemon honey tea. The Hudson Street space, housed in a historic 1861 building, exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere with its large windows. While featuring a prominent sushi counter, Café Kitsuné transcends the traditional sushi restaurant concept. Another Aussie coffee shop, Merriweather Cafe, tucked away in the West Village, is my go-to spot for a cozy coffee fix and delectable bites. The aroma of freshly ground beans welcomes you as you step in, and the friendly baristas whip up the perfect cup. Their avocado toast is a brunch favorite—totally Instagram-worthy. The laid-back atmosphere and eclectic decor make it an ideal spot to catch up with friends or dive into a good book. Plus, the free Wi-Fi is a game-changer for remote work but only on hightops. If you're in the West Village and craving a chill vibe with great coffee, Merriweather Cafe is a must-visit.

One of my favorite old speak easy vibe bar in West Village. It is so small inside. Great drinks, vibe and crowd. My photo on Google maps from almost 15 years ago still receives so many views. There used to be a tarot card reader in the front window who comes I think a bit late at night. She once read my cards and I was blown away.
